I’m Amy
I’m the founder and owner of Ruxie Solutions, my goal is for small business entrepreneurs to be confident with their finances.
I have over 3 years of accounting experience, and I graduated with an Accounting Diploma. I am currently working on gaining my PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation to be able to provide payroll expertise.
When I’m not crunching numbers, there’s a good chance I’ll still be in front of my computer playing video games or watching a documentary while I work on some beadwork. When the weather is nice, I love going out and fishing or camping at the local lakes; my favourite lake is Emerald Lake Regional Park (about 130km north of Saskatoon), which is actually where I got the name Ruxie from! Ruxie Lake is what the lake was originally called before being renamed as a regional park.
My mission is to help small business entrepreneurs to be confident with their finances. I’m passionate about ensuring accuracy in order to increase your profits and continue to grow! I greatly understand the importance of maintaining excellent books.
Why I started Ruxie Solutions
As I was doing my day job of accounting administration at a small non-profit organization, I knew I wanted more & that I had the skills that would make a difference for more small businesses.
As I grew more skilled, I found that my day job was taking less and less time each week. I knew then that I had really honed in my expertise and that I was ready to explore providing accounting administration for more businesses.
I see the numbers but I also see the people behind the business; I know they built their businesses from nothing and it’s such an accomplishment to trust yourself and take actions to make a successful business!

I’m all about numbers, sure, but more importantly, I’m about building great connections! I keep bookkeeping exciting with open chats, active listening and staying rooted & down to earth. You won’t hear me using weird financial lingo! It’s not just about balanced books, it’s about building trust one conversation at a time.
